MERRIMENT
Merriment was the final project of my Graphic Design BFA. Each student was required to conceptualize a brand from the name to final designs. My fictional company was Merriment – a café based on a pay-what-you-can model. In addition, patrons would have the options of volunteering in exchange for meals or paying extra toward meals for those in need.
The name was inspired both by the merriment folks experience over shared meals and Robin Hood's merry men, the outlaws who aided in taking from the rich and giving to the poor. The logo design reflects both references, with an arrow and fork.
The design materials included menus, name tags, food and drink packaging, loyalty cards and posters. // 2013
